Getting Here by Car
From Freiburg: Via the B31 towards Titisee-Neustadt, then onto the B500 towards Schluchsee (approx. 45 minutes).
From Basel: Via the A5 to the Bad Krozingen exit, then via the B31 towards Titisee and on to Schluchsee (approx. 1 hour).
From Stuttgart: Via the A81 to Villingen-Schwenningen, then via the B31 towards Titisee and on to Schluchsee (approx. 2 hours).
Free parking spaces are available directly at the house.
Getting Here by Train
Schluchsee station is on the Dreiseenbahn line (Titisee – Schluchsee – Seebrugg). The train connection is excellent – from Freiburg you can reach Schluchsee in approx. 1 hour. With the Hochschwarzwald Card, public transport is free.
Getting Here by Plane
The nearest airports are Basel-Mulhouse (approx. 80 km), Zurich (approx. 120 km) and Stuttgart (approx. 170 km). Good train and car rental connections are available from all airports.
Getting Around Without a Car
Thanks to the Hochschwarzwald Card and the KONUS guest ticket, you can use all public transport in the region free of charge. Many excursion destinations are also accessible by bike.
