The public lido with a large sunbathing lawn, shallow shore area for the very little ones and plenty of shade under trees. In high summer, the water is 18\u201322 degrees warm. Changing rooms, kiosk, lifeguards in season \u2013 everything is there.<\/p>\n\n

Boat Rental \u2013 Adventure on the Water<\/h2>\n

Pedal boats are particularly popular with families. At 9.4 km\u00b2, the lake is large enough to feel like an adventure, yet manageable enough for safety. From the water, you see things you cannot see from land.<\/p>\n\n

About 20 minutes by car, deliberately kept small and manageable. Focuses on European animal species. Spacious enclosures, regular feeding times, and children can often feed the animals themselves (deer, goats). With the Hochschwarzwald Card, you save on admission.<\/p>\n\n

Steinwasen Park \u2013 Theme Park with Black Forest Charm<\/h2>\n

About 30\u201340 minutes from Lake Schluchsee. Combines theme park attractions with Black Forest scenery. Highlights: one of the longest natural slides in Germany (1,400 m), summer toboggan run and magnificent mountain views.<\/p>\n\n
