Skiing Nearby: Feldberg, Belchen and Notschrei<\/h2>\n

Lake Schluchsee itself is too picturesque for slopes, but the best ski areas in the Black Forest are quickly accessible.<\/p>\n

Feldberg (1,493 m):<\/strong> Approximately 25 minutes by car \u2013 the highest mountain in the Black Forest with the longest runs in the region. Multiple slopes from green to red, often artificially snow-covered. Winter hiking around Lake Schluchsee is an underrated experience. The trails are less busy than in summer, and the lake has a captivatingly tranquil character.<\/p>\n

The winter lake circuit trail:<\/strong> Beautiful in winter, but more demanding in snow. Recommendation: The southern section between Aha and the northern shore (about 8\u201310 km), which is usually better cleared.<\/p>\n

Forest hikes to mountain huts:<\/strong> After a leisurely 2 to 3-hour hike through the snow-covered Black Forest woods, you can warm up with mulled wine and K\u00e4sesp\u00e4tzle.<\/p>\n
